10 DAY SUMMER CAMP BASED IN THE MOURNES AND BENONE BEACH.

Ages 14 - 18

Aimed at building responsibility within young people with adventures through the nature and activities of Ireland. Better your English with real experiences and culture.

The 10 days would look like this…

DAYS 1 - 3

Getting To Know You

  • Indoor Accommodation

  • Typically Cultural activities

We begin with a relaxed program to ease you in. Indoor accommodation in the Mourne Mountains. Get to know your group with activities such as games, role playing, sports, cooking, swims in the rivers, Irish dance lessons, hearing from the traditional story teller, camp fires and a night walk in the hills with hot chocolate and head torches.

DAYS 4 - 6

Beach Camp

  • Tented Accommodation

  • Typically water based activities

It’s time to begin the real adventure. To really bond the group we travel by private bus to our second location at Benone Beach, North Coast. Program will include Surfing, Stand Up Paddling, beach games, visiting a tourist attraction, visiting a typical village for souvenirs and some free time.

DAYS 7 - 10

The Challenge

  • Tented and Indoor Accommodation

  • Typically Land activities

During our rest day we get prepared for the big challenge. More responsibility is handed over to the group to deal with real situations and problem solving. With less structure to the program and more emphasis on challenging the group through cool activities using what they have learnt. Spend time with your friends and enjoy being in the present on our 3 day hike through the mountains with wild camping, wild swimming and wild fun.

Book to hold your place. Places do fill up quick.

All food, accommodation, activities, gear and transportation is included in the cost.

Drop your kids off and collect them at Meelmore Lodge, Newcastle.

When we receive your booking we shall be in touch to confirm details such as allergies, food and collection. You will receive a Welcome Pack about the activities and a packing list.
